Feeling so low

I'm on the lowest dose of HRT, sorry I can't remember the names.
Spherical capsules and gel.

I requested HRT for my brain fog, forgetfulness and ver occasional low mood.

For the past couple of weeks I've felt extremely down. Very very much out of character for me.

When I wake up I feel like I could happily stay in bed.
It's not a feeling I've experienced before, I've been lucky enough not to have experienced any MH issues.

Last year wasn't the best year... one of my closest friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer, my mum had many health issues and there were family relationship stresses.

So I'm not sure if this feeling is the aftermath of those things.

Would upping my HRT help?

The standard dose of gel is 2 pumps. Some women only need 1. Others need 3 or 4.

If your HRT isn't doing what it should, drs do advise increasing the estrogen.

You've not said how old you are, if you're in peri or post meno, or if you're using Utrogestan daily or 12 days per cycle.

Younger women often need more estrogen compared to women in their 60s etc.

Thanks for your reply @JinglingSpringbells

I'm 55, no idea if I'm peri or menopausal.....
I haven't had a period in over 2 years.

I take a tablet every day.

Hi you need to try and see your dr. Your HRT isn't working this can happen as it did to me. I felt anxious all the time angry at everyone and everything. I was on Everol conti 50 and had been for three years anyway I went to my Drs and she said it clearly wasn't doing what it was supposed to do so we agreed to change it. I'm now on everol 75 and one progesterone tablet that I take on a night before bed. I almost immediately felt better and my hormones have started to balance out again. Don't get me wrong I still get angry but not as much🤣. I hope you get sorted soon❤️

You say you're on the lowest dose- what does that mean?

Is this gel, a patch, tablets?
