I'm 44 and peri. I've been on hrt 50 patches and 3 sprays of lenzetto always 2 pumps of testosterone. Some have my symptoms have eased but some are also there. I'm having regular periods every 30-32 days.

My gp has referred me to the menopause clinic due to my hormone levels still be really low. No higher than 200
And testosterone 0.3.
My gp said my levels are really low for the amount of hrt I'm on and that she can't prescribe me any higher at the surgery so has referred me.

Has anyone else been referred due to low levels and what was done for you.

Sorry for any typos can't find my glasses

Blood tests when on HRT are not accurate. I posted a long extract from a medical site yesterday on this.

www.mymenopausecentre.com/gp-resources/oestrogens-and-blood-testing/#fc-how-can-i-help-to-make-my-blood-tests-more-reliable

What are you using now?

Is it patches or Lenzetto? Or do you mean it's both?
What progesterone are you using? How is your GP giving you the amount of progesterone you need IF you're doubling up on estrogen?

The periods you'll be having are withdrawal bleeds - assuming you're using progesterone each month?

@JinglingSpringbells thanks for that I'll have a read.

I'm on both, patches and the spray. Also I take 3 progesterone tablets for 14 days of the month
