Everol 50, symptoms returning, is this normal?

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I started using Everol 50 patches in December, felt so much better almost immediately, less knackered, less physical anxiety, brain fog improved (I felt like I was losing my mind). Over the last few weeks though, symptoms have been creeping back and for the last few days, feel very much like I did before I started. I checked to see if I’d lost the patch yesterday.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Do I need to speak to GP to increase the dose? Was it all a placebo effect?!

I started on Everol 25 , great! Joint pain disappeared after 3 days ! Few months later felt symptoms returning and increased to 50. Was on this for 2 ish years . Felt really well, normal, full of energy. Began then to feel not as good, aching joints have always been my worst symptom. Asked GP if could go 75mcg which we did and no issues. 5 years in total I’ve been on it and will stay on it for as long as I can. Wonderful stuff. Think it’s v common, as you progress through menopause, oestrogen levels will drop further , symptoms return or worsen so it makes sense to increase dose .

You can can increase the dose. I've been told to go back as soon as symptoms return. It's not worth suffering, it can take a few tweaks.

This is so helpful to hear, thanks for your replies. I’ll make another appointment.

I'm despairing a little as am now on the 100 patch having gone through the 25 and 50s with the same pattern. Don't know where I go from here, symptoms creeping back and blood tests show oestrogen is still rock bottom.
I hope you get some relief by increasing the patches!

Could you perhaps not be absorbing the patches effectively, and trying gel an option? (I'm very new to all this, but remember seeing it as a possibility in a video)

Ask for the gel and the tablet.

Thank you; i actually ended up on the patches as I wasn't absorbing the gel apparently. They've recommended to move to the tablet next but I'm slightly wary of that.

That sounds so frustrating. I hope you find a solution soon, I wonder what keeps your body from absorbing it. I’m so new to all this too, @Justwantabitofmeback

It's all quite bewildering isn't it!
