gepretix query

Recently started Gepretix tablet alongside the gel. On 2nd bottle of gel so fairly new to hrt.
I've had a few days of loose poo, diarhea one one day at the middle/end of the 2 week of gepretix. Is this a common side effect? Also at end of period.

Also, should my periods be coming in the 2 week gepretix gaps? I remember the GP saying my periods would regulate and be lighter but can't remember how they would fall within the tablet/gel cycle.

A change in digestion is common- I think this could be listed on the patient leaflet in the pack of progesterone. You may find it improves with time.

The withdrawal bleed should follow the same pattern as a 'usual' cycle where we have progesterone for around 12 days after ovulation - then there is a period.

It's a monthly cycle of estrogen daily and progesterone for 12/14 days (you can do 12 days- the 14 days it just there to make it easier to remember '2 weeks on/off.) Many women do 12 days from the same date each month- eg 1st.

Thank you, so should my bleed come when I'm on 12 day gap from tablets?

Mine came before I finished my 12th tablet, my period cycle just stayed the same. Not sure if I should start the tablets again at different part of my cycle
