Early period - should I worry

Hi all, I’ve been on HRT for a year - oestrogen & progestogen. Still getting periods generally 26-30 days apart.

this month my period started with sudden heavy bleeding on cd 22 - totally unexpectedly. Thankfully I was at home and not yet at work as that would have been embarrassing!

im now freaking as to whether this is just to be expected or is something to worry about. For info I’ve been crazy busy the last month and have forgotten to take a couple of oestrogen doses, not sure if that can have this effect?

I've been on HRT for about 18 months
Periods are anyway between 15-40 days apart! I'm 48

If you're on sequential HRT you will have 'periods' as long as you're using that type.

It's a withdrawal bleed, not a real period.

Sometimes the bleed starts a bit early but usually it's nothing to worry about.
