Hi there, I have noticed my hair always seems messy since I have the peri- menopause, what should I do, my hair used to be smooth and silky and now it feels dry and looks a mess, my hair is straight and fine, any tips on what to use for my hair would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

Do you take any supplements? Might be better to tackle the problem from the outside in. I started taking collagen tablets (gummies actually, which is like eating sweets), for my hair. Only a month in, but my scalp started feeling healthier.

Oh gosh, I could have written this! I assume it is hormonal but mine just doesn’t keep a style, it goes drab and lank.

I use omega-3 algae oil capsules. Also good for lots of other things health-wise.

I had a keratin treatment about 9 months ago. The first couple of weeks my hair smelt funny and was lank but ever since it's been the best it ever has. Can rough dry it upside down and it goes and stays lovely and smooth. It's not cheap though. I think it cost about £160
