@Zeus007 If your gp has said it's vaginal dryness, otherwise known as vaginal atrophy which affects bladders, why have they not prescribed the right treatment?

You need vaginal estrogen - either Ovestin cream or Vagifem (pessary.)

There are lots of threads going on this right now here, about vaginal treatments, so have a read of those and go back to your GP to ask for estrogen cream.

Pain when weeing when there is no infection can be caused by loss of estrogen to the bladder and vagina.

Your GP ought to examine you and be able to diagnose vaginal atrophy.

The blood can be coming from your urethra (the tube where your wee comes out) if it's dry and sore.

Your GP ought to know this without you having to see a 3rd doctor.

Agree that vaginal atrophy can cause urinary issues - I use vaginal estrogen and it has helped with a number of things but def less getting up at night for me - might help with pain when urinating
