Hello, posting here as I had an ovary removed a few years ago and think I may be peri menopausal but unsure.

I've recently started growing a lot of facial hair. Not noticeable yet but growing increasingly!!! I pulled a one inch hair out my cheek today, my chin is getting darker hair and a moustache is definitely forming. I'm also getting increasingly hairy side burns!

Sunday so no gp today but has anyone had this?? Is it fixable? Am I stuck shaving my face ☹️

As of right now I've not touched it other than plucked any long hairs! Any advice please and thank you!!

Yes, it's a really common symptom of peri. My chin sprouts wiry little hairs on the daily that I have to pluck (I use a spring roller, a cheap and wonderful little gadget). So there I am at the end of every day, spending five minutes plucking hairs, it's such fun. 😅 There are other methods, as you mention -- razor, electrolysis, etc. It really depends on the level of growth. Definitely fixable, but definitely annoying!

Go the beautiful every six weeks and get waxed and eyebrows done - keeps on top of it

No good advice on the hair issue, but I also had an ovary surgically removed and it triggered early perimenopause.
