Contraception and HRT

What contraception do you use along with HRT please? I'm 48 and currently on HRT (gel and progesterone)

Hi,

just searched for any related posts on HRT gel, I changed from patches to gel recently and have found I have tenderness in breast and upper chest both sides since applying gel. I'm hoping this is just a side effect. I have now gone back on patches as I found the one pump dose confusing as always came out different amounts if that makes sense.
