Sore scalp

Ive found this thread so helpful in not panicking over every little weird symptom!

Is this one?! I don't have dandruff, there's not visible redness but my scalp is stinging, almost like sunburn and dare I say it, I can actually smell burning when I wash my hair or say when I've been lying in bed, the pillow smells of it for a short while. It's driving me mad. I've not burnt my hair on straightness, curlers or dryer to my knowledge, but even if I had my scalp wouldn't be stinging.

I've swapped out my usual shampoo for a cheap tea tree one, the smell has eased a little bit the stinging persists and is worse if I'm honest. Anyone?

Try using Neutrogena Sensitive Scalp. It's a bit hard to come across but Savers sometimes have it and you can get it on Amazon usually.

Do you have any skin issues before? For natural treatment, avoid dryer after washing your hair. Let it dry naturally. A mixture of natural coconut oil and aloe vera is good for soothing the stinging.
