I wasn't sure where to post really as at 38, I am too young for the menopause and probably peri menopause too! So sorry if I am gatecrashing the forum.

Up until recently, I haven't had emotional issues during my periods but the last 3 months, every time, I am so low, find myself crying for no reason and just can't pick myself up. It's completely rubbish.

Has anyone else experienced similar?

Hi @PumpkinPie2016

It could be the start of Perimenopause as this can effect you emotionally at first.

Do you have any other symptoms?
Are your periods regular?

I would keep a record of how you're feeling and speak to your GP or Nurse?

It definitely could be fluctuating hormones especially as it's happening at the same time each month.
