Oh wise menopause people of Mumsnet..

I have very dry hair. I've had to have it all cut very short as it was breaking off left right and centre.

I've got the terrible itch, restricted to just my neck and eyes both seem really dry and the itching is worse of a night.

Just this week I've started with terrible palpitations/heart flutters. Almost constant. Worse at night. Really strong, like it feels like my heart is bursting out of my chest (no pain, just a real weird sensation)

I'm 43. I'm on the progesterone only pill so haven't had periods for years anyway.

It's suddenly struck me that this might be menopause/peri. Are heart palpitations a symptom? Anyone else had this?

Yes , heart palpitations are a sympton .

However, it is also can be caused by the thyroid, so that should be ruled out , if you are concerned.
