Miserable meno symptoms!

I’m 43. About a year ago after my partner had a vasectomy, I stopped BC, then I went a year without a period. My GP ran two blood tests which showed abnormal hormonal levels(FAI LH, and FSH)
GP diagnosed me as menopausal.
im 43. Had my first baby 3 years ago, with zero issues(if that means anything).
up until about 8 months ago, I felt completely fine.
other than my lack of periods, zero meno symptoms.

First oddity? I woke up one day and my muscle mass was just gone. Literally it seemed liked over night, my athleticism just fd off.
Over the last 6 mos, I’ve generally just felt awful.
Dizzy, weak, nauseous, off balance. I get every virus, bug, allergy infection after 20 years of sturdy resistance. I go into these “storms” of anxiety that render me utterly useless. I become so wrapped up in anxiety that I can’t do mundane tasks.
I was FINE 6-8mos ago
I just feel sick, physically all the time. I literally hear things differently as if I’m underwater.
what is happening. I never even feel normal anymore. I start HRT on Sunday but feeling completely hopeless

Can totally sympathise op. I changed my hrt this week and I had a totally sleepless night with horrific sweats all night. Since then, I felt like I've been underwater. Dizzy, blurred vision and just feeling anxious and out of it. I've even been worried to drive, and spent 3 hours in Tesco earlier just wondering the aisles.

I am only peri (I presume, it's been a year since my last bloods), but the symptoms are wild. Similar to yourself, including lots of ill health (full on flu/covid 9 times this year!).

It's really bloody difficult, and this week has shown me just how horrible it can be. I hope your hrt helps things 🩷

Thank you.
what you’ve described perfectly encapsulates how frustrating it is to go from fine one minute, to absolute misery. Without knowing why. Literally nothing has changed, but I’m just sick feeling, weak and confused after a life time of being fine.
I just don’t understand how/why.
I hope you start feeling better soon and I’m here with you
