Large blood clot - PHOTO WARNING

Hi ladies, WARNING PHOTO INCLUDED

I have a doctor's appointment but it is a little away and I know I will be very anxious in the meantime. The last few periods I have had, I have had small blood clots alongside 3 or 4 "large" ones. This is the one that really made me worry (see photo - sorry for TMI). I can't get it out of my head something is wrong and I know I'm going to be thinking about this until my appointment. Has anyone had this? Apparently we need to be concerned if it is the size of a 10p coin but I'm unsure if it is because of shape so getting checked incase. I should note I'm 31 and have had 2 kids (2 and 5) so although I put this under menopause I doubt this is the case.

Also, if you’ve been inactive for a while, the blood pools & sits there so it will clot & come out like that.

Mine started like this. Then got much bigger. I had fibroids that needed removing. Get checked.

Before I had my hysterectomy I was passing clots that were huge and resembled chopped liver. That is by no means big but if you're worried get it checked out OP.

OP, normal and no need to worry.

They may increase as you get older though but they may not too! Who knows!

If they become difficult to pass due to size, go to GP as may be fibroids but again, fibroids tend to shrink (in most cases) with age.

Do not worry.
