First GP phone call advice

Hi all - looking for some advice to be ready for a first phone call appointment with GP. 11 years ago told I had low AMH and likely to experience an earlier menopause. 2019 filled with rage, crying, put on lots of weight, cycles closer together and heavier. Went on Qlaira privately. Helped then COVID came and couldn’t get appointment to renew. Managed with diet, exercise, changed job/reduced stress, cut out alcohol, magnesium dose. 2021 sex drive basically zero, really lumpy cyst filled boobs - told at mammogram/ultra sound very pre menopausal looking boobs! 2022/23 cycles getting longer - 40 plus days, heart palpitations, and tingling, and wild anxiety (mainly health related). Cycles getting longer and lighter, still zero sex drive, night sweats come and go. Now it’s 80+ days - had one 12 hour spotting. Feel very flat - like I have no up or down, bloated and horrendous metal taste in mouth! Not sure I want HRT but only 44 last month so want to consider bone and heart health. What shall I say/ask for?

Get your iron/ferritin, B12 and thyroid checked.
Print off peri symptoms and tick yours off.
Ask if they would consider a trial of HRT

Very good advice. I've had mine done prior to HRT and found out I'm actually quite unwell! Anaemic, high cholesterol and potential hypothyroidism!!
