I've been on 50 Evorel patch and a 100 Utrogestan tablet since 1st Sept this year (2024). At the beginning of this month (1st Nov) I felt no better so increased patch to 75 (after appt with GP). Still feel no better. I'm 55 and haven't had a period for 5 years. Is it worth sticking with this regime a bit longer to see if I start to feel better? I'm wondering whether to try Androfeme as my main symptoms are anxiety/verging on panic attacks, bad brain fog/bad memory, and debilitating tiredness from about 2pm onwards. Would appreciate any advise and thoughts. Thank you.

Are you trying any life style changes and supplements to go along with your HRT? I personally don’t see HRT as a cure all as it hasn’t been for me!

I had to stick with dose changes for 3 months to see if they were effective (although I did end up on 100 estrogen patch). In the meantime as @DustyLee123 says it's important to focus on the lifestyle basics (sleep/rest, fresh air, good diet, low/no alcohol, less caffeine, meditation/mindfulness etc as appropriate for you). It took me a good while to get the dose right though, it's a journey.
