I have had my period back for 4 months now since having a baby (16 months old), prior to pregnancy I would get 2 days of brown discharge before I would bleed. Since giving birth and getting my period back, I had quite painless and “pleasant” periods, starting with normal red bleed. However now onto my 4th cycle, the brown discharge has returned. What is causing this to happen? Start of perimenopause ? I am nearly 38
