Will periods ever stop on sequential HRT?

I’m on patches for oestrogen, and vaginal progesterone 14 days/month. Period regular like clockwork 5 days after last progesterone pessary.
Will my periods eventually stop on sequential HRT, or would I get this induced period potentially forever if I kept on this cycle? Can I expect to have any symptoms to show I am actually in menopause - eg lighter periods (currently brief but heavy)?

no- you will continue to bleed every month on this regime. It is a forced bleed- not a natural period. There is no way of knowing when you actual menopause is.

I'm on this and I rarely bleed. 2 bleeds in last 12 months. Suspect I'm close to menopausal. (If not already)

Mine stopped while I was taking cyclical HRT orally. Not sure if your delivery method provides higher doses, which would probably cause regular withdrawal bleeding.

Mine appears once every 8 months or so. On sequential. Was the same beforehand. So, I guess the answer might be...maybe and ...depends. That's bodies for you!

Oh, I wish. I bleed so much on sequential HRT I've been on iron tablets for the last 6 months. Can't get the balance right, but symptoms are too bad to come off HRT.
