Symptoms coming in waves?

Been peri for a while now. But still very much at the beginning I suspect. I am 49.

My symptoms seem to happen in waves? Fine lots of the time ( apart from the constant bleeding which is being looked into ).

have days and weeks were I feel fine. And then days where everything is just there. I am not coping well with the peak of the ways and end up leaving work.

Does anyone have this? Any ideas of how to cope with the peak waves. I’m sure if I had it all the time I would find a way to cope. I have other medical problems and have found ways to cope with them. Just need some ideas of how to cope with these.

I had a medically induced one, so I'm not sure if the same applies to you.

My oncologist explained it in terms that made perfect sense to me. They said that our brain monitors out system, and when we have too much or too little of something out brain sends a chemical "message" to the part of the body responsible telling it to do more/do less.

During menopause, it's our ovaries that get the message from the brain. When our ovaries don't comply, cos they cannot, the brain sends more and stronger messages. That can lead to the flushes ect.

Not really helpful in helping you cope I suppose, but I find it I understand why something is happening to me, I seem to be able to cope with it better.

Good luck going through the rest of it
