I'm on hrt, oestrogel with mirena, age 49, all good.
Just had mirena replaced after 2.5 years on it, as part of polyps removal op.
I felt fine with mirena before, but the op and replacement were 2 weeks aho and I've been feeling oversensitive, emotional, teary occasionally, irritable, feeling rejection or slights where there aren't any. Basically, like pms.
Could this be due to the mirena replacement? Google AI says the mirena releases a bit more for the first 7-8 weeks, so could that be causing it? Wondered if anyone has similar experiences when it's been replaced after half the term.
