Wrong patches - will they swap?

For some reason my gp has gone rogue and my repeat prescription for estradot patches has gone through as generic estradiol - and the pharmacy has supplied evorel. I’m allergic to the glue on evorel!!! Didn’t notice as the pharmacy round here delivers and it wasn’t until I opened the bag I spotted it wasn’t Estradot.

Will the pharmacy swap? Or am I going to have to go back to the GP? What a waste of money too.

No. The pharmacy won't swap. They have given what was on the prescription and cannot reuse returned medication, so would be out of pocket. If you have a need/preference for a specific brand, you need to get your GP to agree to prescribe that brand.
