I have just went through a serious menstrual bleed that landed me in the emergency room.
My hemoglobin and ferritin has been low for quite some time.
I am very concerned as I just received my recent blood results from yesterday and ferritin is 20, hemoglobin is 103 but my iron plasma is 51 where normal range is between 6-27. I have never had high iron plasma before. A month ago my iron plasma was 10.
Does anyone know what this means?
