I've been on Evorel Sequi for around 14 months and at first, they were great and helped with the night sweats and achy legs. Up until March this year I was still having regular heavy periods then they started to get further apart but still heavy and now I've not had one since August. I do have the Nexplanon implant which prior to HRT did stop my periods with the odd breakthrough so not sure if they are the cause of periods stopping.
For the first 6 months the patches were great but then I started to notice that when I was on the last two weeks of the box I was getting more PMS symptoms and now I'm on the last week of a box and my anxiety has shot through the roof and I'm crying at the drop of a hat and just feel awful. I have an appointment booked for 18th of this month but feel so bad considering trying to get one when surgery opens on Monday as don't think I can handle another week feeling this anxious and low.
Has anyone had this happen on the Sequi patches? I'm wondering if I'm past the peri stage and now need my HRT adjusted. I am only 42 so know it's a bit early for menopause but GP did indicate last year she thought it might happen early given I needed HRT at 41.
