we don't use protection, DH has ED and is not very performing and is barely able to get it in and even then it's only for a few minutes, mostly limp.

but how would I know if i am late because I am peri and periods are starting to become irregular or if i am pregnant ? I don't want the expense of buying a pregnancy test every time I am not having a period on time,

I am 49

Or you could use contraception if you don't want a baby. I don't think you could tell if you're pregnant without a test.

Use contraception if you don't want to buy pregnancy tests. There's no way of telling.

I just do a test every few months. Same age as you and don't use protection. Highly unlikely to be pregnant!

There are any number of pregnancy threads on here from women in their early 40s who thought that they were peri and had a surprise baby. I think the stats are more women over 40 having babies than under 18. You can potentially release eggs into your 50s, so it depends on how much of a risk you feel you're taking.
