I’m about to start with these cyclogest as I can’t tolerate utrogestan .
anyone else tried these and how was it?
I’m 3 yrs since starting hrt. So 4 yrs since last bleed.
can I take them alternate nights?

I'm on 200mg Cyclogest pessaries. I take them for 10 consecutive days a month - this is through a Gynaecologist and my GP has been happy to continue to prescribe. I am very intolerant to progesterone but find I can tolerate Cyclogest much better than Utrogestan. I'm 58 and my periods stopped many years ago. I don't know if you would be able to take them alternate nights.

Thx @midnightserenade
good to know you take for a number of days not continuously. I asked if I can do a 7 day run every month but she thought I need to daily:(
my ultrasound scan of uterus was fine.
I dont intend to tbh I know how I get affected by it . Currently Ive been using utrogestan only 7 days every 8 weeks - as agreed by a gp. But I literally feel ill after day 4!
it’s awful
Think I’ll take the cyclogest 7 days not all the time unless I start & have no issues but that’s highly unlikely.
Thx
