Hi I am coming up on 12 months without a period aged 54 and I have noticed I am beginning to sleep a bit better and the awful anxiety I have had the past few years is lessening. I am not on HRT and just wondering is this at last coming out of the perimenopause 10 year fog so to speak and I may be finding myself again. To those of you now in menopause/postmenopause do things improve a little/lot or no .....things are worse.

Thank you!

Mine was two years of dreadful hot flushes but once out the other side I felt fine. No more 28 day cycle of mood swings and discomfort. Zero weight gain which other people report.
I do tend to overheat a little and need a light duvet but that's all.
