I am booked for hysteroscopy - they found fibroids and cyst in left ovary and thickened endometrium. On the letter no explanation what they actually going to do. Are they going to take biopsy? Or they hoping to do something re cyst -fibrioids. Can I drive after the treatment?

My last periods where so painful and clotting was bad, I was so close to call ambulance pain was unbearable. When big clot was released then pain started to ease off.

I never want to feel pain like that.

i dont know what to expect …anxious and scared

I had a hysteroscopy as had fibroids and thickened endometrium. They just took a biopsy, they did find a polyp and asked if they could remove it there and then but the health care assistant who was holding my hand gave me a look as to say no, which I did and the doctor said fine we will get you back in and remove it under general anaesthetic which they did. It was uncomfortable pain like period cramps and I did drive home afterwards. Hope it goes okay for you
