Inability to form sentences first day of period

I’m in the very, very early stages of peri menopause I think.
I’ve found in the last few months, the first day of my period, I find it almost impossible to speak in longer, full sentences. The words won’t come or I use a different word to the one I need.
I end up having to speak very slowly and deliberately, in order to complete a coherent sentence…….

The rest of the time I’m fine, unless particularly tired or stressed.

It’s very irritating. Also, period pains are worse.
I never had any side effects linked with periods up to this point in my life.

Anyone else found this?

Yes, come periods my coordination goes and my ability to form words and sentences. It's so weird.

I often wonder with hairdressers when they do an inconsistent cut if they are on their period?

Are you sure you're not having a migraine? I find it very difficult to talk when I have my hormonal migraines. There's no pain... just poor coordination between brain and speech.

It could be a silent migraine. Look it up... one of the symptoms is difficulty with speech. Migraine medication may help you.
