Small amount of blood when wiping

I had a period 20 days ago. When I wipe there is a tiny amount of blood over the last couple of days. Is this a common sympton? I'm 49.

Exact same thing happened to me last month for the first time, I'm 48.
Cycles always 24-25 days (ish) but this month started bleeding again after about 2 or 3 days once the period was done, only very very lightly, never really went away at all, just on wiping really, then another full blown period two weeks after the last one with this light pinkish blood all the way in between.

If you're worried see your GP but for me, I am pretty confident this is the start of my cycles becoming erratic.

Mine went all over the place, (I also got a bit anaemic from it so watch out for that if you get heavier erratic bleeds) it's the reason I started HRT and then eventually got a Mirena.
