Will a switch from Utrogestan to another brand cause a problem?

Have been taking HRT for two years ( gel and Utrogestan daily) Just looked at the prescription I collected today and I have been given a different type of progesterone. Is it likely to upset my routine? It took a little while to sort it out but everything so much better for the past 12 months, I’m wary of upsetting my system!

please reassure me if you can. I have 3 months of it…..

What have you been given? If it's Zentiva then I believe it's exactly the same. I've been using it for a few months (having been on Utrogestan for years) and it's fine.

Me too - just been given Exeltis. But compared the ingredients and they are exactly the same.

Yes, it’s Zentiva. That sounds good news, thank you.I’ve taken it for a couple of days, feel emotional today but hoping that it’s just by coincidence.
