I am 44, nearly 45. My last period started on 23rd September and lasted about 4/5 days which is usual for me, so it ended on about 27th September. Usually in the days after my period my breast tenderness goes away and they go back to their normal size, but they stayed really tender and swollen after my period had finished, I've never had this before and wondered what was going on. Then on 7th October I started bleeding again! I had the usual cramping pains associated with a period so it feels like a period. I thought it might be just spotting but it turned into quite a heavy period, it still hasnt stopped. Should I be worried? I don't know whether this is a normal thing to happen? No other symptoms, only that my cycle has become shorter over the last 2 years. Any advise appreciated. I will book to see a Dr but wanted to see if anyone had any helpful comments on here.
