Awful hand pain in peri?

Has anyone else experienced this? I have excruciating pain in both hands. Was really bad in March, started HRT and it seemed to clear but is back this week. Have had X-rays done and nothing abnormal seen/no evidence of arthritis.

Have you had your vitamin D levels checked? I had really painful hands when mine was very low

I did before I started hrt. In fact, the reason I started hrt was because of my hand and hip pain. Gone completely now.

@Seeline no I haven’t actually. I’ve been taken B12 and folic acid as I had low folate at one point but on a retest that was high. I will query that with doctor though, thank you!

I posted about this recently, it was my hands and feet, I'm not officially in peri or on any medication but wondered if it was a symptom among other things. It disappeared after about a week, I was also feeling run down. Think it was a virus of some sort. I took Berroca for a few days until it passed and I've now have restarted daily vitamin D and Vitamin B complex again aswell.
