Hi all, have you taken any supplements that have had a positive effect on your brain fog/brain power during menopause?
I'm taking Omega 3s but they're not working as well as they have in the past and I always relied on them.

TIA

I find L-Tyrosine very effective. In fact it's almost too good at lifting the fog - if I take it every day I sometimes struggle to sleep. So I take one every other day and double dose on magnesium as well.

Thanks @rookiemere, I’ve never thought of L-Tyrosine but will look into it.

Please could you share a link to that product, as I would like to try.

Many thanks.

I just get it from Holland and Barrett, it may not be for everyone so be careful when you're trying it www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/l-tyrosine-500mg-50-capsules-6100004699

I looooove l tyrosine - we call it the focus pill in our house - take one in the morning on an empty stomach with caffeine and then top up during the day.

As well as HRT I use a product called Neuromind, my husband uses it as well, it makes a massive difference for him and myself.

Lions Mane and chaga mushrooms have been good for me. And Maca which is also quite powerful and disrupted my sleep a bit when I first took it, even though I had it in the morning.
I started with mushroom coffees (Dirtea or London Nootropics) but just buy the powders or capsules online now, as it is (MUCH) cheaper. Good luck!

Have you tried Flawless Bloom CogniUltra? It’s specifically designed to support brain function and mental clarity, and many people find it helpful during menopause for better focus and cognitive support.

I know this was last years post and I replied to it, but I’ve recently found a new supplement that is proving to be great. It’s called OOMPH by a company called Nogginbrain.co.Uk, honestly after a week I can feel the difference.

Like myself the Dr that devised it has M.S and was so fed up with brain fog and fatigue. It’s so refreshing to not have the brain fog and increased energy. My husband can’t believe the positive effects in such a short time, I’ve found the elixir of life, I can now do things instead of just thinking about it but not actually having the energy to do it, 🌺
