Progesterone

My period seems to have stopped, it's been 3 months now. I am 51 so this may be the end however I'm a bit confused. How long do I continue to take progesterone?

Hi, if its helping you still I would continue to take it for 2 weeks eveey month until its been a year then review how you feel.
You can always come off it at any time and start again if symptoms re appear ,"

Do you mean the POP- progesterone only pill - contraception?
If so, you need to go 12 months with no period before you stop contraception.
