HRT and periods

I've always had heavy periods but they got significantly worse in my mid thirties following pregnancies/c-sections and then worse again in mid forties with perimenopause. I take tranexamic acid, which helps but they're still grim and I'm struggling with chronic anemia.

Anyway, my question is, now that I'm on HRT (sequi patches) will they just go on forever? Or will they stop at some point due to age regardless?
