Horrible spots since starting HRT

So I had no periods for 2 years, only 45 and eventually got around to going to GP. Not had a terrible time of it, hot nights and some sleeplessness but that’s pretty much gone. However I was reading more and more about the health benefits of HRT so decided to go to GP, bloods done and was confirmed I was in menopause. Patches prescribed.

But my goodness, I always had bad hormonal spots but this is another level. So so painful. My skin has been lovely and clear since my periods stopped so this is getting me down. I’m not taking about little pimples these are like huge painful lumps.

Im so close to just ripping the bloody patches off.

Any advice? Will this go or is this it???

I'm the opposite, HRT made my skin better.

Speak to your GP, another type may not cause the same issues.

That’s the thing menopause made my skin the best I’ve had in literally years! I’ve hardly had to wear foundation and now im
back to covering the most unsightly red lumps.
