Should have started with:

A few years ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. Came on rapidly in the days after a Covid 19 vaccination. Was hospitalized during the acute phase, then it went to a sub-clinical level but did not fully resolve. Taking steroids.

Having joint pain now and trying to work out if it is flaring up (didn’t have joint pain during the acute phase though) or just a peri thing on top. Or a change in the weather.

Pre HRT my hip pain was worse from the middle of my cycle until my period finished. It was better during the first two weeks.

It's resolved with HRT at the right dose. It's definitely a peri symptom for me.
