Is it normal to just start suddenly skipping periods?

Hi all, I'm 43, I was starting to experience what I think are peri-menopause symptoms but cycles continued to be regular until this month when I skipped it completely and no sign of my next one yet either which is due around about now. I didn't expect to just start suddenly missing periods...is that normal? Thanks!

I have no idea. Mine are getting closer and closer together. In my prime it was a 36 day cycle and now it’s twenty. I’m never not angry or bleeding.

I just randomly skipped a period a couple of months ago and then straight back to normal. I’m 45 and I’m guessing this is the beginning of the end.
It’s difficult to establish if my other symptoms are menopause or not. Hair loss, but I have also just lost a ton of weight so could be that, and mood swings but I’ve always been a stress/anxiety sufferer.

I have to say, as in my head I’m still 25 I really don’t feel ready for the menopause
