Hrt bleeding early on progesterone

Hi, I've been taking hrt (3 pumps gel every day and 12 days progesterone). I've often started a bleed sometimes a couple of days before I've finished the progesterone. Last month I started on day 9 and this month I've started on day 7. Is this normal or something I should worry about? I'm 46 and been taking it 15 months.

I've had the same since I started on HRT. I'm a similar age to you.

My gynae says it's fine and to keep taking the progesterone even when the bleed has started.

If I were you I’d check with your GP/prescribing clinician for reassurance or to see if your dosage needs changing. I’m in a similar situation and about to go on holiday with the worry I might start bleeding heavily on the plane. not to mention the whole inconvenience of bleeding whilst being away…the worry is real!
