Started hrt - now more hot flushes

Started hrt a couple of weeks ago. Until then I had maybe 1-2 hot flushes a day and the occasional one at night.

Now it’s more like 20 a day and 2-3 every night.

Is that normal on starting hrt?

What HRT are you taking?

Ustrageston tablets and estradot 50 patches.

It's probably nothing to do with starting HRT because it doesn't usually work that fast.

The likelihood is those flushes were coming anyway and it's a coincidence.
Medical advice is it can take 3 months for HRT to work fully and to get the dose right.
