"Letdown" in breasts but not feeding, hormonal?

I'm 35 but started periods young so may be at risk for earlier menopause. For the last week I've had a feeling like the "letdown" in breastfeeding. Breasts feel full warm tingly. No change in size or appearance. Started at the end of period and led up to when I'd usually ovulate (day 14) so its not like post ovulation breast tenderness. I'm not pregnant (negative tests including yesterday) and haven't breastfed in 9mths (youngest is 15mo). Also, one nipple has been quite itchy and sore and I've been noticing little cracks/fissures in it.
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone as being perimenopausal?
Also are there any blood tests I could ask for to check if I'm perimenopausal?
Thanks
