Bleeding after sex post menopause

60 year old colleague having bleeding after sex - not all of the time but every other time. On combined HRT - smears up to date. Had uterine polyps removed a couple/ few years ago.. soreness down below frequently too. Anyone had the same? Thanks

Yes, it was an erosion. Just needed cauterising.

Would this still be classed as post menopausal bleeding even though it's minimal and only after sex? Thanks

She needs to see her GP and be referred for a scan. No one can diagnose her via your post.

It could be anything, and even vaginal dryness that can cause bleeding, but she needs a scan to rule out anything more serious.

I hope you can pass this on to her.
