Supplements for peri help

Having woken up yet again drenched in sweat I feel it's time to get some supplements in to support myself through perimenopause.

There's are so many brands and types etc out there I have no clue where to start.

It's been happening a while along with my period cycle changing and so I'm noticing I'm at that point now. I'm 45 so it's inevitable I guess.

I have a cooling blanket and a ceiling fan but is there any specific type of bedding that helps at all?

I take a vitamin d and a multivitamin gummy daily and I've just started back on collagen again but what can you guys recommend that would give me the extra bits that I need, other than hrt ?

When I first started with perimenopause symptoms, I started taking evening primrose once a day.
That really helped for a couple of years, but things have ramped up recently so I've decided to give HRT a go.
For those 2 years, I definitely had fewer hot flushes, just the occasional one the day before I came on maybe, so it worked for me.
Hope you find something that helps.
It's no fun!

They don't work. Or if they seem to, it's a temporary blip in your own hormones. RCOG has done loads of research into supplements (it's online if you want to dig around- google ROCG and British Menopause Society 'alternatives to HRT- herbs etc'.)
EPO especially does not help with flushes and sweats according to research.
One- black cohosh- can help with flushes but used long term there is a risk of liver disease.
Is there a reason why you want to avoid HRT?
