Sequential progesterone and another period two weeks after last

Been on Estrogel and Uterogestan (lately changed to Gepetrix) for about 4 years. 3 pumps E every day and 2xU vaginally for 12 days a month.

Normally fairly regular, period arrives a few days after I finish U. This month though I had a rotten week of what I assume was an oestrogen 'spike' with swollen and painful boobs, weird mood swings, feeling generally meh.

I started spotting on Monday which has turned into a fairly heavy period.

Couple of things - something to worry about or just keep an eye? And I was due to start U this week for the 12 days but haven't because of the bleeding. Should I take it now or just wait for the next cycle which I start on first of every month?

It sounds like a normal period.
If you aren't post meno (assuming you aren't) then it's not unheard of to have a period out of nowhere especially if it's coinciding with the usual PMS symptoms.

Keep to the same date as always with utrogestan.
