Teary and sad in the evenings??

I've recently switched back from continuous utrogestan to 12 days after speaking to a gynaecologist (was still having some irregular spotting on continuous).

I'm also on 2.5 pumps oestrogel and have been for many months.

Ever since I moved back to sequential, I seem to get teary and sad in the evenings.

Could it be that I need to space out my oestrogel through the day (currently used in morning).

I haven't been tracking teariness but it's possible that I'm only getting certain parts of the month which might coincide with when I'm not on progesterone?

I struggle to track these things but it really can be very helpful. Especially if your cycle doesn’t coincide with the hrt cycle because that can add another layer of complexity. My doctor encourages me to go three months to let things settle down and as much as I hate to admit, she seems to have a point. The first few weeks after a change are rocky.

Thank you. I have been tracking things generally but this is a reasonably new development. I forgot it takes a while for the meds to settle after a change.
