I'm 54. Had last proper period in April this year, but they have been on and off for a year or so (sometimes every month, then a gap of four or five months).
I started using Evorel Sequi patches about 6/7 weeks ago and they are brilliant.
I had a 'bleed' about 3 weeks ago, a week after I started on the Conti patches (so oestrogen with progesterone).
I'm due to go to swap again to the conti patches this Thursday, so am currently on the last few days of the oestrogen only patch.
I've noticed blood on a pad (that I use when going out in case I sneeze).
I feel a bit off, have had migraines, feel sick, bit of tummy pain and realise that I feel like I do before a period, but surely I shouldn't bleed on the oestrogen and only on the combined one?
Surely my own dwindling hormones can't override the patch?
