Hrt after hysterectomy with Endometriosis

I am 6 months post op a total hysterectomy following 3 years of severe pelvic pain. I have always had heavy and painful periods.I had Adenomyosis and fibroids. Following the op I was blissfully pain-free for 8 weeks. Once I started hrt my pains came back with avengance I saw gynae again, who said that it was indicative of microscopic endometriosis. Previous scans and laparoscopy didn't show Endo.
I've been put on Tibolone to help with the pain and menopausal symptoms. It is helping slightly with the menopausal symptoms but the pain is awful. I'd be interested in what others have taken to help with their pain/symptoms.
I have been referred to a bsge consultant but am aware this is at least a years wait.
Thank you 💕

I had a fibroid which has reacted well to progesterone when the nhs were not interested in treating. They had a go even on blaming it as spinal. 3 hours after taking the first dose of progesterone 100mg I’m paying to have a private scan when l imagine being told the size has shrunk.

I don’t thank the nhs.

I had Prostao injections for 18 months before another laparoscopy which sorted the endo out for good.

Unfortunately, a hysterectomy is not a cure of endometriosis. Deposits can be left all throughout the pelvis. Did you have an excision at the same time?

Are you having the scan 3 hours after Progesterone for a reason? It is all so stressful 😫

I'm glad it helped you. Prostap did nothing for me unfortunately :( x

The problem is they have said all along I don't have Endo, when I have had all of the symptoms. I did have Adenomyosis and fibroids. Adeno is similar. Once I started Estrogen only hrt my pelvic pain flared up considerably. The consultant has said it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack and referred me back to the gp :(
