Estramon patch

Just wondering if anyone has used estramon patch and how did they find it? I have been using estradot which has really suited me but everywhere is out of stock (Ireland). I'm a bit nervous about changing brands.

I've just started HRT at 44 and prescribed the eatramon patch. So far so good with it, good adhesive. GP wanted me on 37.5 but due to shortages pharmacy gave me 50 so I've had to cut these. Has anyone had experience with this? Presuming it's all fine! Fingers crossed the shortage with estradot isnt going to last very long although I see there is no return date for these patches yet.

Hi ladies, unfortunately, I have recently been told by my pharmacist that the company who made Estradot are not making it any longer and that another company took over. I was told that the new patch would have a different name but everything else would be the same. When I collected my new patch, to my horror, it was Estramon which I was given before when there was a shortage in Estradot. I had a very bad experience on it previously and all my symptoms came back. I started to get insomnia again along with, anxiety, night sweats, hot flushes, pains in my joints, memory loss, crying for no reason and taking my husbands head off for nothing etc. I asked the pharmacist to make a note not to give this particular patch to me again. She basically ridiculed me and said it was impossible that my symptoms came back while on Estramon and that all patches were the very same. NOT TRUE! They are not all the same at all. Estradot stopped all of my symptoms. I was sailing through the menopause on it and now, here I am again going through all of the above. How many poor women are going through the same thing? It's just awful. I am going to ask will they change it for another brand to see if there is any improvement. I can't stay on this patch! And it's bloody huge! Why do they have to be so big?
I have spoken to 3 other ladies over the past two days who said Estramon is not working for them either.
