I hate bras!

I’m mid 40s and getting quite hot and sweaty at times. The piece of clothing I hate the most at the moment are bras. I whip it off the moment I get home and feel pretty uncomfortable all day. I’m wearing good quality underwired bras in the correct size. It’s the structure and the feel of a bra I don’t like. anyone found an alternative that they love?

Would you consider non-wired?

There are some quite decent styles out now, from all the big stores and brands.

Never worn a bra 50 now. Padded crop tops or bralettes.

It's comfortable to be braless at home. And when you need to go outside that compels you to wear a bra, opt for breathable bras like seamless bras. I find underwired bras suffocating. Yes, it supports the saggy breasts but I feel cramped wearing them.

Stop wearing them. I gave up over covid lockdown and no going back now! I do use the "comfort" ones when I have to go into work, but otherwise it's sagging all the way. My kids and plants don't mind and anyone who does doesn't get to voice an opinion.

Breastfeeding so can't deal with underwires at the minute. I often tend to use the soft stretchy bras you just pull on like a sports bra (but alot more comfy!!!). I just buy multipacks from the supermarkets. To me they're a really good compromise in terms of comfort and support, I only really like being totally bra less in bed.

I can’t stand bras now I’m in my 40s. Been measured, right size etc etc just so uncomfortable. The only thing I can just about stand is some sort of cotton crop top thing. I wouldn’t have dreamed of going out not wearing a proper bra when I was younger but all my give a fucks are gone now. I have large boobs as well, 34GG but just hate feeling anything tight on me.
