Brown blood / Could I be peri?

• have a mirena coil so not really having regular periods, but get the occasional bit of very dark brown blood - irregularly
• Irregular but very severe lower back / hip area pain particularly in the morning
• complete loss of libido over last 2 years
• broken sleep but again irregular
• very forgetful (affecting work)

I'm only 43....should I go to a Newson clinic?
Have tried to get GP to help with back / hip pain but they are clueless...

Yes, it does sound peri, but at your age I’d get your iron, B12 and thyroid checked first.

Things may not all be connected, I'd get the GP to check out the irregular bleeding, could be polyps or fibroids for example.
